Monument record BEG 058 - Late Neolithic to Early Iron Age activity at East Anglia One Area 22

2017: Excavation revealed prehistoric remains spanning the Late Neolithic to the Early Iron Age in date. Two Late Neolithic pits containing Grooved Ware assemblages and three Late Neolithic-Early Bronze Age pits containg Beaker pottery were identified. The majority of the activity on the site dates to the Early Iron Age which includes a large number of pits and five post-built structures. The pits contained a typical assemblage of domsetic waste indicative of occupation.
