Full Description

There was a circular Victorian brick lined feature, originally interpreted as a soakaway (30) for rainwater from the neighbouring building. However the feature had no brick capping, and, its close proximity to the area of iron working may alternatively suggest that it was a well, providing water to the adjacent workings. The fill of this feature was not excavated, (S1)
