Full Description

G1003 was an east-west ditch measuring >14.50m long x up to 1.30m wide and with a surviving depth of 0.28m, although it was presumably deeper originally. It had moderately steep sides and an undulating base. Its fill was soft, mid brownish greysandy silt containing three struck flint flakes that are likely to be of later prehistoric date and a single sherd of Thetford-type Ware dated to the 1Oth-11 th century.
