Full Description

Grade II listed building since 1976. A C17 timber-framed and plastered building with C19 and later external features. 2 storeys. The upper storey is jettied on the front. 2 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The ground storey has a C20 shop front. Roof corrugated asbestos. Nos 119 to 129 (odd) Fore Street and Nos 77 to 83 (odd) Grimwade Street form a group (S1).

Timber-framed building survey: The ground floor is divided into two bays of roughly equal size on both the ground floor and first floor (S2). Warehouse/building to rear, one half of roof is original, the other half of the roof has been reroofed using old timber (S3).
