Summary

The faint cropmarks of a boundary ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs. Some of the ditches are perpendicular to the probable medieval to post medieval road and boundary banks recorded within this field (ELV 104), and therefore may be historic in date. However it must also be noted that there are also some elements which follow the same alignment as the excavated Iron Age and roman boundaries and fields to the southwest (WLV 086/ELV120).

January 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
The faint cropmarks of a boundary ditches of unknown date are visible on aerial photographs (S1). Some of the ditches are perpendicular to the probable medieval to post medieval road and boundary banks recorded within this field (ELV 104), and therefore may be historic in date. However it must also be noted that there are also some elements which follow the same alignment as the excavated Iron Age and roman boundaries and fields to the southwest (WLV 086/ELV120).
