Full Description


Barrow (site of) - northermost of group of 5 (see FXL 016, BGL 014-5 & 017-8; also see FXL 015).
Excavated by members of the Ipswich & District Field Club, May 1919. Appeared to have been previously dug into. Small quartzite hammer was the only find.
Probably Anglo Saxon. (No 6 on 1921 plan.)
1962: 'E' - No trace of this barrow. Bracken dense (S1).
