Full Description

May 2018. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
White, broadly circular soilmarks, visible on aerial photographs (S1), may mark the site of levelled post medieval flint mines. Broadly similar marks are also visible approximately 650m to the northwest (STN 191). Some of the larger marks are also visible as vegetation marks on other years of Google Earth photography, but their interpretation remains uncertain. The marks have been mapped by extent.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 3rd May 2018.
