Full Description

Trenches were 100mm (where the topsoil had already been removed) to 600/700mm deep with 200/300mm of topsoil above 100mm to 400mm of mid brown clay subsoil.
The only feature revealed was a north-east to south-west aligned 800mm wide and 350mm deep ditch (0002, see Fig. 3) in trench 4 whose mid brown clay fill (0003) contained a few small brick/tile fragments of Post medieval date.
