Full Description

2019: Archaeological trial trench evaluation revealed evidence for Post Medieval period. The archaeological features comprised a series of possible ridge and furrow linear features and a ditch on the line of a field boundary first present in the 1882 6" OS map through to the 1952 edition. This was assumed to be have been recently backfilled during the later half of the 20th century. A single undated tree bole was also encountered. (S1)
