Full Description
June 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A probable post medieval boundary bank is seen as an earthwork (which has since been levelled) on aerial photographs (S1-S2). The bank is aligned approximately north east - south west and is in close proximity to further post medieval boundary banks to the east (IKL 348) and a group of Bronze Age barrows to the west (IKL 004 and IKL 005). The feature is not visible on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map (S4). The bank can be seen as an earthwork in the 1940s (S1) and is presumed to have been levelled as the feature is not visible on recent (2016) aerial photographs (S3).
J.Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 14th June 2019.
