Full Description
Some of the sections of bank were originally recorded from field visits as part of SHER IKL 199.
June 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Sections of a large probable post medieval boundary bank are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The sections of bank are aligned approximately north east – south west and most likely related to a boundary recorded on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (S3). Some sections of the bank have been levelled since the 1940s with the majority of the banks seen as an earthwork on recently (2015) visualised lidar data. The sections of bank are also in close proximity to boundary banks to the south and south east (IKL 348 and 358). The sections of bank have also been recorded from field visits from a previous survey (IKL 199).
J.Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 17th June 2019.
