Summary

A low circular banked feature with an internal depression, of an unknown date, is seen as an earthwork on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data. The feature consists of a roughly circular bank with an internal depression and most likely relates to a natural geological feature. It is possible that the feature may relate to post medieval forestry and part of the feature is mapped on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map as a possible area of vegetation.

September 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A low circular banked feature with an internal depression, of an unknown date, is seen as an earthwork on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The feature consists of a roughly circular bank with an internal depression and most likely relates to a natural geological feature. It is possible that the feature may relate to post medieval forestry and part of the feature is mapped on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map (S3) as a possible area of vegetation.
