Summary

An area of possible ridges of an unknown date are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data. The ridges may relate to medieval to post medieval ridge and furrow or possibly post medieval forestry. The possible ridges are cut by a modern trackway or path along their southern extent and are in close proximity to a large probable post medieval boundary bank to the south (WRW 021). These features are similar to further ridges recorded to the north west (WSW 198)

September 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of possible ridges of an unknown date are seen as earthworks on aerial photographs and visualised lidar data (S1-S2). The ridges may relate to medieval to post medieval ridge and furrow or possibly post medieval forestry. The possible ridges are cut by a modern trackway or path along their southern extent and are in close proximity to a large probable post medieval boundary bank to the south (centred at TL 8248 7350). These features are similar to further ridges recorded to the north west (WSW 198)
