Full Description
June 2019. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Sections of a possible undated bank are seen as earthworks on visualised lidar data (S1). The sections of bank may have related to a post medieval boundary bank not recorded on the First Edition Ordnance survey map (S2). Furthermore the bank is in very close proximity to an area of Frist World War practice trenches (IKL 352) relating to the Elveden tank training area as well as situated within a Second World War bombing range (IKL 353) at Berners Heath. It is therefore possible that the bank may have related to military training.
