Full Description

2019: An archaeological evaluation revealed evidence of post-medieval activity relating to the drainage and reclamation of the fenland. The presence of desiccated fen deposits suggest that the site would have been fenland until being reclaimed during the post-medieval period and the land being turned over to agriculture. (S1)
