Full Description

Church or Chapel of St Petronilla, Bixley.
J Kirby appears to refer to the A45 as the road from 'Ipswich to the Church of St Petronille' (S1).
"Bixley ... formerly a separate parish with a church dedicated to St Petronville" (S2).
Note: the only other church dedicated to St Petronilla is at Whepstead - see WHP 019 (said to be only church in England with this dedication). [Note also St Petronilla's Hospital in Bury - BSE 023]. However, WHP 019 may originally have had another dedication?

Formerly recorded as RMA MISC
