This belonged to the Deanery of Stow, but to the Hundred of Bosmere. In existence by 1254 (R1).
Lay in the churchyard of Creeting St Mary (and were commonly called 'Creeting-two-Churches')(R2).
Was a 'very ancient edifice with a round tower: under a window on the south side, in a recess in the wall, is a stone with a cross upon it, but no inscription; said to have been laid for a female of the Baldry family, who had built that window and Weever mentions a monument to Robert Roydon Gent, who died in 1505. The church ...was taken down about 1795' (S1). Mapped by Hodskinson in 1783 (S2).
1999: Geophysical on behalf of the Creeting Churches Project revealed the south and east walls.
