Summary

Water tower of 1923. Steel structure was built to supply the holiday village of Thorpeness, it is timber clad and was converted to a below tank dwelling in 1924. The tank was damaged during Worrld War II and removed circa 1975 when mains water became available and it became a house. Adjacent to Thorpness windmill (see TM 45 NE 47).
