Full Description

Number 5, a Saxon coin of Edmund I (AD 940-946), with a head (Ruding, pl 8, fig 2). The coin is a rare one, and this specimen is very perfect. It is now in the collection of the Rev E J Shepherd, Luddesdown Rectory, near Gravesend. It was found in 1840.
Also Roman fibula and coins from this site (S1).
