Full Description

'Akenham' coin hoard and scatter.
Hoard: dispersed in ploughsoil, 59 silver coins and one gold ingot (weight approx 2 grams), deposition circa 220 AD, centred (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s), found metal detecting, 1981 (S1). Declared Treasure Trove 1982.
Scatter: coins - sestertius of Ant. Pius (found 1977), C4 bronze coins, finger ring and scabbard chape.
