Taken from NRHE Record:
(TM 2743 8500 -TM 3000 8730) Railway symbol.
The Waveney Valley Railway. First section opened from Tivetshall to Harleston in 1855, fully opened from Tivetshall to Beccles in 1863. First section closed from Harleston to Bungay in 1960, in 1964 the Bungay-Ditchlingham portion, followed in 1965 by that on to Beccles and finally the western section in 1966.
