`Vessel lost due to stress of weather, in wind conditions E force 10, with thick snow. Loss on the vessel, which was not insured, 350 pounds [sterling]; loss on cargo, also not insured, 120 pounds [sterling].' (1)

`Lowestoft, 28th December - A sloop and schooner are on shore to the north of Corton.' (2)
