Full Description

`The CERES, Crawford, from Cowes to Sunderland, run on shore on Lowestoffe beach on Friday, after striking on the Newcombe Sand. Crew saved.' (1)

`The CERES, Crawford, struck on the Newcomb-Sand, near Yarmouth, in a gale at SSE on Friday se'nnight, and will be wrecked. Crew saved, and part of the cargo likely to be recovered.' (3)
