Full Description

`Yarmouth, 26th Feb. The BOREAS, Clarke, from Shields to London, is on shore at Pakefield, and likely to be lost.' (1)

`The BOREAS, Clark, from Shields to London, laden with coals, is wrecked near Yarmouth.' (2)

`At Mr H Robson's Raff-Yard, South Shields, on Thursday, the 21st of April next, will be SOLD by auction, for the benefit of the underwriters: All the very valuable stores and materials of the wrecked ship BOREAS, 17 keels burthen; they consist of anchors, kedges of different lengths, cables, hawser, towline, warps, standing and running rigging, sails, masts, yards, booms, boats (the longboat new), captsan, guns, etc. etc. The sale to commence at 10 o'clock in the morning.'
