Full Description

`Yarmouth, Dec. 8th...last night during a heavy gale from ESE to ENE...The JUNO, Robinson, of and from Memel, bound to Lisbon, with staves, ran on shore at Pakefield last night, and is gone to pieces.' (1)

NB: The nationality of the vessel has been expressed as both German and Lithuanian, since the modern port of Klaipeda in Lithuania was the Prussian port of Memel at the time of loss.
