Full Description

Drove ashore and was lost in wind conditions ESE force 10, accompanied by thick snow squalls. Estimated loss on the vessel which was not insured was 400; loss on the cargo, also uninsured, 100. (1)

`Yarmout, 28th December...the following vessels were also driven on shore at the same time,,,the YARBOROUGH (sloop) of Grimsby, from Shields to Maldon with coals...' (3)
