Full Description

Wind mill mound. Tower mill recorded in 1824, demolished in 1920; mound only survives, circa 3 feet high and ploughed (S1). Site marked as 'Old Windmill' on OS 1:10560 map. Ceased to work in 1883 when cup blew off. It had 4 patent sails. Base is used as a chicken shed.
