1759 wreck of British cargo vessel which was lost near Orfordness en route from Newcastle-upon-Tyne to London with coal and goods; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty

`Newcastle, March 31...The PRINCE GEORGE, Maud, from this port for London, with coals and goods, was lost a few days since near Orfordness; the crew were saved.' (1)
