1832 wreck of British craft which stranded on the Whiting Sand en route from Seaton Sluice to London; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty

`Aldbro' 29th November - The NORTHUMBERLAND, Carneby, from Seaton Sluice to London, was totally lost on the Whiting Sand this morning. Crew and a small part of the materials saved...28th November - It blew strong all night from the west and still continues.' (2)
