1825 wreck of English craft which foundered after grounding on the Onion during a gale; a wooden sailing vessel.
Status: Casualty

`Harwich, 11th Nov. The DAPHNE of Sunderland, struck upon the Onion, and sunk. Crew saved and landed here.' (1)
