REMAINS OF SAILING BARGE, 1921

05-DEC-1921 Position 51 58 30N 001 27 06E about 0.33 cables to the
NE of the wreck of ARETHUSA on the SE side of the Cutler Sands.
Bawdsey Seamark bearing 328 degrees (N 18.5 degrees W mag) distance
1.78 miles.
13-FEB-1922 Wreck has drifted to a position on the western side on
the Cutler Shoal, position 51 58 30N 001 26 42E.
21-AUG-1973 Found in 51 58 28.5N 001 26 30E. Small but distinct SWD
clear 5.2m (17ft), foul 5.5m, echosounder 5.7m in 8.2m, scour 9.2m.
Bottom flat with slight undulations.
12-FEB-1979 Shown in 51 58 29.5N 001 26 28E with least depth 5.8m
and apparently orientated 350/170 degrees.
17-OCT-1984 Examined in 51 58 29N 001 26 27E. Least echosounder
depth 6m in general depths 8 to 9m. Scour depth 9.9m. Side scan sonar
height 4.6m, length 12m approx. Lying 130/310 degrees.
