Vessel stranded and lost in wind conditions SSW force 9. (1)

`Southwold, 9th Jan: The SPRING, of Hull, Chapman, from Middlesbro' to this place, is stranded on Southwold Bar and expected to become a total wreck.' (3)

`Southwold, 11th Jan:...The SPRING...which got on the Bar 9th Jan, was floated off and brought into the harbour yesterday.' (4)
