04-JAN-1967 Obstruction, possibly wreckage located. Least
echosounder depth 33 in general depth 35-41ft.
25-MAR-1968 Swept clear at 29, foul at 31ft. Least echosounder depth
34 in 25 to 45ft. Scour depth 44ft.
19-JUN-1968 Examined in 52 29 16.0N, 001 46 39.0E. Least echosounder
depth 31 in general depth 34-42ft. Scour depth 45ft. Difficult to
locate as it is a very poor sonar contact.
10-JUN-1970 Examined in 52 29 15.0N, 001 46 44.0E. Least echosounder
depth 11.8 in general depth 11 to 13m. Scour depth
14m.
11-OCT-1979 500m square around wreck position thoroughly searched by
side scan sonar. Many strong bottom contacts made, but none
identifiable as a wreck. A 2m high ridge was found in wreck position
and a least depth of 9.7m was obtained 50m W of this position.
30-APR-1986 Position examined. No wreck indication on echosounder,
side scan sonar and magnetometer.
14-MAY-1989 Examined in 52 29 16.0N, 001 46 39.0E. Swept clear at
9.1, foul at 9.2m. Least echosounder depth 9.4 in general depth
10.8m. Scour depth 14.1m. Side scan sonar height 2.9m, length 65m.
Upright, lying N/S in area of shallow sand waves.
