REMAINS OF BRITISH TRAWLER, 1925

Grounded on Newcome Sands and sank, 1925.
17-FEB-1925 Sunk about 075 degrees, 9 cables, from Pakefield Ch.
23-FEB-1925 Dispersed. Least depth now 9ft [LWST].
12-JUN-1987 Wreck located in 52 27 25N 001 45 42E. Least echosounder
depth 4.9 in general depth 6m. Scour depth 7m. Lying 045/225 degrees,
with length of some 50m, beam 17m. Magnetic anomaly indicated iron
content of some 2.5 tonnes. Apparently listing 45 degree and
partially engulfed.
04-JUL-1989 Located during area sonar search. Not examined.
26-JUN-1991 Located in 52 27 24.6N 001 45 42.5E. Appears to be
partially buried in general depth 5m.
22-MAY-1992 Box search using sonar and magnetometer. Not found.
General depth now 4.6m. Believed completely buried.
