Full Description
Military Camp. Earthworks of enclosures and building plots along a hollow way in woodland, visible as earthworks on LIDAR. A road is shown on Hodskinson's map in the position of the hollow way, but this isno longer in use by the time of the OS1sted and the area is shown as wood pasture, part of Ufford Park.
Visible on Google Earth 1945 as a series of temporary buildings resembling a camp, arranged along the former road. It seems likely that this relates to the Army's use of the nearby Ufford Place house [UFF 032] during WWII.
