Full Description

Geophysical survey identified enclosures reminiscent of a ‘Ladder’ or ‘Ribbon’ settlement however these are of less certain date (late prehistoric to medieval), and due to low density of internal features, more likely to be for agricultural purposes. Further agricultural features of the medieval to post-medieval landscape such as ridge and furrow cultivation, former field boundaries, former ploughing and infilled ponds are evident across the site. Report to follow (S1).
