Full Description

Iron sword, complete, C9. Found partially on surface in meadow very close to river Black Bourne, probably originally in dredgings (which were recently put into a trench rather than spread on the field) (S1).
Find spot is within general area of IXW 005, ESax cemetery. A lead weight with bronze face, dated C8-C9 also found in this area.
