Full Description

2024 - Geophysical survey identified a clear rectangular enclosure measuring 24m x 32m close to an area of possible extraction an another less clear possible rectilinear enclosure and a curving ditch. These features are within 650m of archaeological deposits, identified by earlier surveys and corroborated by subsequent evaluation trenching, dated to the Neolithic, later prehistoric and medieval date (S1).
