Full Description
Two undated ditches was identified at Waldringfield Quarry during an archaeological evaluation. The first ditch was 0.4 metres wide and 0.2 metres deep with a north south orientation with a dark brown loamy sand fill. Only a single burnt flint was recovered. The second ditch was cut by the first, and was on a South West - North East orientation. It measured 0.8 metres wide and 0.2 metres deep with a fill of mid brown loamy sand. No finds were recovered from this feature (S1).
