Full Description
2025: Archaeological features were recorded in two of the trenches and consisted of three ditches and a probable pit. One ditch was undated. The two other ditches were recorded in separate trenches but were of similar appearance suggesting they were related and possibly formed one corner of an enclosure. One of the excavated sections produced a single sherd of Middle or Late Saxon pottery. Although indicative, this cannot be considered enough to securely date the feature. The pit was undated but was probably post-medieval. A probable glacial channel was also recorded (S1).
