Full Description
C13 cooking pot and glazed pitcher fragment from pit, ditch or moat (?), below C16 cottage. Found with oak timbers 6 feet 6 inches down in boggy deposit at bottom of ditch/moat(?) during instruction of footings for wall in centre of new extension to C16 timber framed building, Vine Cottage (see PMed).
