Full Description

Box Tree Farm, built circa 1300 as a timber framed chapel and converted to 2-storey building in C16. Brick frontage and roof 1903. Considered as of outstanding importance (S5)(S8). Range of buildings shown but not named on 1904 map (S2). Said to have been destroyed by runway extension in 1954 (S6). Standing in 1957 (S7)!
Free Chapel built circa 1174, belonging to Priory of Norwich, assigned to Hoxne in 1294 (S1)(S4).
