Full Description
Mound. 12 paces in diameter, circa 1m high. Tree covered. Situated in the grounds of Buxhall Rectory. ? An ornamental feature.
According to the Misses Copinger-Hill, whose uncle, the Rev H Copinger-Hill, was Rector of Buxhall, the mound was called `Moot Hill' and is where the manor court met (S1).
On the Tithe Map (1837/9) the field is called Home Lawn.
