Full Description
Pottery, including samian, mainly C2, fragments of glass, quern, painted wall plaster and bronze perforated disc.
Coins: Vitellius AD 68 (silver), Trajan AD 98-117, Constantius II AD 350, plus pottery found in 1968, `at a depth of about 18 inches to 24 inches (while digging trench) in the gas main trench which runs under the line of the footway on each side of the estate road' (S2). Retained by (see 'Not to be published on web' tab for finder/s and/or findspot/s). Pits 'Belgic & Rom" (S1).
