Full Description
Three ponds shown on OS 1:10560 map now filled in are possibly the remains of a moat. Scatter of C14-C16 pottery, including some probable products of the Weybread kilns, found in the area in between the ponds (S1). Additional fieldwalking 1985 has produced two C12 rim sherds, a large group of C15 and C16 pottery, glazed and unglazed, including pancheons, two lava mill stone fragments and some possible C14 and C17 sherds (S2).
