Moat. Irregular, incomplete, unoccupied, isolated. Close to parish boundary, next to Cage's Farm.
Site of Cage's/Over Cage Hall? Cage's Hall was a sub-manor of Whepstead held (of the Abbot) by Richard Cage in 1246. Absorbed by main manor in 1539, when owned by Sir William Drury (S1).
