Full Description
Extensive settlement area, extending almost a mile in length and up to 200 yards wide revealed during pipeline construction. Circa 70 features including over 40 pits, possibly timber sleeper beam structures, and 3 clay filled depressions, post holes and ditches. Pottery sherds of C2-C4 including Horningsea wares.
