Full Description
Ring ditch, circa 22m in diameter (S1,S2). In area of `Dukes Stand' as shown on OS 1st edition map of 1836 (S3).
(TL 63026253) Ring-ditch visible on OS air photographs, with traces of a possible pit in the centre. (S4)
Situated c45.0m. OD on the top of a shallow ridge on Newmarket racecourse. There is nothing to be seen on the ground. (S5)
