Two iron axes found on Newmarket Heath (R1).
Newmarket Heath crosses the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk boundary (in Exning parish), and includes Newmarket Racecourse.
Possibly Roman (or Med?).
"found in 1822 while levelling part of the Devil's Dyke" so actually to west?
