Full Description

Church of St Mary Magdalene, Withersdale (vicarage, United benefice with All Saints, Mendham).
Nave, chancel, weather boarded bell turret. Norman doorway, font and 2 windows in nave. Recorded in Norwich Taxation of 1254. Probably one of the 2 1/2 churches in Mendham in Domesday Book - probably the one owned by Robert Malet.
